Dr Myriam Rapior

Vice President of the German Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND)

Born in Bonn in 1996, Dr Myriam Rapior has been Vice President of the German Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND) since 2022.

Rapior holds a PhD in sustainable supply chains, with a particular focus on human rights in global value chains and large-firm biodiversity protection. In 2022, she was awarded the German Environmental Prize for her work in the Future Commission on Agriculture and was later named one of the German magazine Capital’s Top 40 under 40.

Rapior was reappointed to the German Council for Sustainable Development in January 2026. This is her second appointment.
