Dr Andreas Rickert is the Chairman of the Board of PHINEO AG. Phineo provides analysis and consultation on the topic of effective civic engagement. Prior to this, Rickert, who has a degree in molecular biology, was Director of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Project Head at McKinsey consultancy and Senior Specialist at the World Bank.

For the German Council for Sustainable Development, Dr Andreas Rickert is involved in developing so-called “impact investing” (investment in civic projects with measurable impact) and its utilisation with respect to sustainability issues.
